Osama Bin Laden’s assassination carries mostly symbolic value. It will not bring an end to terror activity inspired by Global Jihad’s fanatical theology, which Bin Laden helped create and execute in his role as al-Qaeda’s leader. The assassination will also not prevent the terror attacks that will aim to avenge the arch-terrorist’s killing. However, the United States did manage to rehabilitate its global image, even if only slightly. The world rejoiced without regret, without self-imposed guilt, the killing of a fanatical Muslim who worshiped the death of innocents. No major world leader denied the legitimacy of America’s decision to assassinate bin laden, and rightly so.

Shmuel Sackett, the International Director of Manhigut Yehudit  recently wrotein an incisive article that what made bin laden a justified target killing, only one thing; bin laden didn’t murder only Jews. Bin laden murdered innocent civilians anywhere and everywhere; Christians, Muslims, and Jews. Had he limited his terrorism to Jews only, the same world leaders who today take great pride in his death, would be inviting him to speak at the United Nations.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the President of Iran. His personal history includes much more than just politics. It has been alleged, some sources say proven, that he personally ordered the attack against the Jewish community of Argentina that killed and wounded hundreds of Jews. He has stated publicly repeatedly – that he wants to destroy Israel and that Israel has no right to exist. He states that he wants to kill the “6,000,000” Jews who live in Israel and he is working diligently to build an Iranian atomic bomb that will do just that. Yet this professed mass murder of Jews has spoken at
the United Nations, and been invited to Columbia University as a guest lecturer. Why is that ? Ahmadinejad has stated publicly that he is only interested in killing Jews, that’s why.

Khaled Mashaal is the leader of Hamas. Hamas is the PLO’s partner in the recent unity government signed by President of the Palestinian Arab Authority Abu Mazen (a proven denier of the Holocaust). As the leader of Hamas Khaled Mashaal is the sworn enemy of Israel, section 7 of the Hamas charter calls for the killing of every Jew. Hamas has murdered and wounded thousands of Jews in Israel; Hamas has fired over the years thousands of missiles and rockets into Southern Israel aiming for Jewish homes, Jewish schools and Jewish school buses hoping to kill Jewish children on their way to school. Khaled Mashaal is on no one’s “hit list”. Just the opposite is true. The Russian President Putin has invited Mashaal to Moscow. Former President Jimmy Carter has embraced Mashaal and considers him a partner for peace. Why ? Because he has state publicly that he is only interested in killing Jews.

Shmuel Sackett concludes with the idea that Osama bin Laden violated the golden rule: In addition to killing Jews, he also killed non-Jews. That is why he was targeted and that is why the world applauded his death. The message to Jews – and to the State of Israel - is very clear. So long as Ahmedinegad and Mashaal will not make the same mistake as bin laden, they will be continued to be accepted and embraced by the world.

Obama’s One big Mistake

Does anyone remember Darfur?  Fewer human rights reports, news dispatches, or even candid accounts from U.N. leaders, are reporting on events in that region and have dropped almost fully out of international view.

This is the same region where, according to Jewish World Watch, 400,000 people have been killed and 3 million more have been displaced in the last decade. So, while Turkey the home of “Midnight Express” raises the volume and accuses Israel of perpetuating a severe humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip and global human rights activists will be sailing their idiotic flotillas this month to protest Israel's defensive blockade against a terrorist regime in Gaza dedicated to the destruction of Israel, thousands of Darfurians will continue to suffer and die – quietly.

And this fall, while the eyes of the world will be fixated on the Palestinian Arabs' diplomatic moves at the United Nations, don't expect to hear  much about the hundreds of thousands of Darfurians whose misery will be compounded by diseases and the genocide being conducted by their leaders.

President Barack Obama's speech of May 19, he used more than 5,000 words to discuss the ills of the Middle East and North Africa -- including more than 1,000 words on the Israeli-Palestinian Arab  conflict -- not one word was spoken about the genocidal suffering of Darfurians in Sudan. If Obama cares so much about the downtrodden Arab masses, why is he giving so little public attention to the humanitarian disaster in Darfur?

Obama’s one big mistake has been his inability to conceal that deep down he actually doesn’t care about the downtrodden. Whether they are in Darfur or in downtown Detroit. Obama evidently believes that having the liberal media behind him and being supported by pubic opinion makers is sufficient to get by until Election Day. Obama has forgotten about his promise to make government more responsive to the little guy, you know, the one who yelled “yes we can”.
